In this episode, I talk about personal amplification systems that I am familiar with and have personally. Also, in the Acceptance Corner, I talk about PMA - a favorite from my Dad!

hey my betty and I listen to your podcasts! they get better all the time. we are inspired by the way you are attacking your affliction head on. Im thinking you sound a lot like Marge Simpson {who is now a movie star} also we listen to Diane Rehms who is a sd sufferer yet speaks daily on NPR.
Betty was diagnosed as ADSD but recently they changed the probable cause as MTD {muscle tension dysphonia} which sounds the same in sufferers, but MTD is treatable without Botox. keep up the great work and we are praying for you and all the other SD afflicted folks.

I think that your podcasts provide a valuable service. Thank you for doing them.

I use a wireless mic/amp setup when I conduct SD support group meetings. I found them at a guitar store. My husband set the system up on wheels using parts of a rolling suitcase. It works great.

Glad that you continue to point people in the direction of the NSDA. I'm a proud member/volunteer leader. I have evolved in coping with SD in a large part due to my involvement with the NSDA.
